Michelle de Jong

Michelle de Jong is an experienced music educator and events producer with a strong focus on teaching and promoting music in various settings. Currently serving as a Primary School Teacher Coach at Ark since November 2021, Michelle specializes in whole-class singing, coaching primary school teachers using the Kodaly method. Previously, Michelle worked with Newham Music, focusing on teaching deprived young people and creating educational resources for a music production project. In December 2021, Michelle launched Venus Collective, curating multi-disciplinary arts events. Additional roles include art director for a music video project, DJ at Ace Hotel, and choir leader for a charity, demonstrating a diverse skill set in music education, event management, and creative production. Michelle holds a Music BA from Brunel University London.
