Justin Barnes

Justin Barnes, PhD, currently serves as Associate Supervisor of R&D and has held multiple titles, including Research Scientist III and R&D Specialty Team Lead, at ARL Bio Pharma since January 2023. Prior to this role, Justin worked at Tulane University as a Graduate Research Assistant from August 2015 to January 2023, conducting research on low coordinate Cu(I) thiolate complexes to explore their structures and reactivity in biological systems. Justin's academic background includes a PhD in Chemistry from Tulane University, obtained in December 2022, and a BS in Chemistry from Louisiana State University, completed in May 2015. Earlier experiences at Louisiana State University also include assisting in multi-step synthesis projects and providing administrative support in the Office of the Executive Vice-Chancellor and Provost.
