Sami Torsti

Sami Torsti is an experienced automation specialist currently working at Arla Oy since January 2023. Previously, Sami served as a technical specialist in project and automation at Valio from April 2011 to December 2022. Prior roles include project manager at Insta Automation Oy (January 2006 - April 2011) and service manager at Dantherm Filtration Oy, which was formerly known as Disa Finland Oy, from January 2004 to January 2006. Sami began a career as an automation engineer and sales engineer at Elmega Oy from January 2000 to January 2004. Educational qualifications include an engineer's degree in Electrical and Automation Engineering from Vaasan ammattikorkeakoulu VAMK University of Applied Sciences (1997 - 2002) and secondary education at Kauhajoen lukio (1995 - 1997).
