Vera Martomaa

Vera Martomaa is an experienced microbiologist and laboratory manager with a robust background in management, education, and technical assessment. Currently serving as Laboratory Manager at Arla Oy since March 2021, Vera also holds a position as a technical assessor in microbiology for the Finnish Accreditation Service since 2007. Previous roles include Customership Manager at SYNLAB Analytics & Services Finland Oy and Novalab Oy, where expertise in microbiology and customer relations was demonstrated. Vera has contributed to academia through lectures on microbiology and swimming pool hygiene at various institutions. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Microbiology from the University of Helsinki, alongside pedagogical training from Oulu University of Applied Science.
