Jean-Michel Lequin

Jean-Michel LEQUIN has extensive work experience in the food and beverage industry, specifically in roles related to engineering, operations, and project management. Jean-Michel currently holds the position of Vice President Engineering & Technology at Arla Foods since August 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Operations Excellence Director at Danone Aqua from July 2021 to August 2023. From January 2019 to July 2021, they worked as the Factory Director at Danone Wexford. Before that, they held various roles at Danone, including Operations Director and Head of Engineering Projects at Danone Early Life Nutrition from January 2017 to December 2018, and Project Director from January 2014 to December 2016. Jean-Michel also worked as a Senior Engineering Program Manager at Danone nutricia in 2013 and as a Senior Engineering Project Manager and Senior Project Manager at Danone Baby Nutrition from 2007 to 2012. Prior to joining Danone, they served as a Plant Manager at Blédina from January 2004 to June 2007. Jean-Michel also worked as an Engineering Project Manager at Biscuiterie Lu (now Mondelez Group) from April 2002 to December 2003. Their career began at RHODIA ORELIS CHEMICALS UK (now NOVASEP), where they worked as a Business Development Engineer from June 1996 to May 1998.

Jean-Michel LEQUIN completed an Engineer's Degree in Food industry management from AgroParisTech, where they studied engineering, food processing, nutrition, and quality management from 1992 to 1995. Jean-Michel then pursued a Master's degree in management & innovation at Grenoble Ecole de Management from 1995 to 1996. Prior to that, they attended Lycée Champollion from 1990 to 1992, where they completed an intensive course leading to admission to a top engineering college. During this time, they studied mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology.
