Thiemo Marx

Thiemo Marx has extensive work experience in the field of intellectual property and corporate alliance management. Thiemo currently serves as the Chief IP Counsel at ARLANXEO since November 2018. Prior to that, Thiemo worked at Grünenthal Group for 9 years, where they held positions such as VP, Head Corporate Alliance Management and European Patent Attorney/Senior Director. Thiemo also worked at Bayer MaterialScience as a Senior Patent Counsel/European Patent Attorney and at Bayer as a Laborleiter.

Thiemo Marx received a Dr.rer. nat. degree in Chemistry from the University of Cologne from 1998 to 2001. Prior to that, they obtained a Diplom Chemie degree from RWTH Aachen University between 1996 and 1998. Before their time at RWTH Aachen, they pursued Diplom Chemie studies at the University of Düsseldorf from 1993 to 1996. In 2011, Thiemo Marx pursued an LL.M. degree in Wirtschaftsrecht at Hochschule Niederrhein.
