Michael Stiefvater

Michael Stiefvater is the current Acting Director of the Business Investment Group at Arlington Economic Development. Prior to this, they served as the Business Development Manager at Rockville REDI from June 2015 to July 2017. Michael has also held the position of Economic Development Coordinator at the City of College Park from September 2011 to June 2015, and Research Associate at CoStar Group from October 2010 to September 2011. Michael Stiefvater began their career as an Office Clerk at the US Census Bureau from February 2010 to May 2010, before taking on the role of Entitlement Manager at Richmont Development from August 2006 to January 2010. Michael completed a summer internship at The Fischer Group in May 2005, where they worked as an assistant to the Vice President of Land Acquisition.

Michael Stiefvater completed a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning at UC Irvine, and a B.S. in Public Policy, Management, and Planning at the University of Southern California.
