Susan Smoley has over two decades of diverse experience in education and project management. Since March 2001, Susan has worked as a Substitute Teacher for Arlington Heights School District 25, teaching a wide range of subjects to students from kindergarten through 8th grade, including special education and English Language Learners. Prior experience includes significant roles at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, such as Project Manager, Total Quality Manager, and Chief of Plan Formulation, where Susan managed complex water resource projects and led teams to develop feasibility documents. In addition, Susan served as a founding member of the Chicago Women's Alliance Affinity Group at the University of Chicago, fostering connections among female affiliates. Susan holds an MBA in Business Economics from the University of Chicago and a B.A. in Economics and Public Policy from Kalamazoo College, along with various certifications and diplomas in economics and social media marketing.
