Ashley Pruitt

Ashley Pruitt is an experienced educator currently serving as the Gifted and Talented Lead Teacher at Arlington ISD since June 2023. Prior to this role, Ashley worked as a Reading Specialist at Mansfield ISD from June 2021 to June 2023, where responsibilities included providing direct instruction to enhance students' literacy skills and implementing a comprehensive literacy program through coaching and support for teachers. Ashley's teaching career began at Arlington ISD in August 2006, where a commitment to gifted education was demonstrated as a Gifted and Talented Teacher until June 2021. Educational credentials include a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Literacy Studies from The University of Texas at Arlington (2011-2013) and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Teaching from the same institution (2001-2006).
