Christian Matthews

Christian Matthews is an experienced educator and athletics coach currently serving as an Athletics Coach at Arlington ISD since September 2021, where responsibilities include leading over 50 students in football fundamentals and collaborating with colleagues to enhance student-athlete success. Previously, Christian served as an English Language Teacher at Crowley Independent School District, developing engaging curricula and assessment strategies to support student progress. With a background that includes roles at the Dallas Mavericks as a Summer Camp Basketball Coach and teaching positions at Grand Prairie ISD and Texas City School District, Christian has demonstrated a commitment to student development and educational improvement. Christian holds a Master of Education in Educational Administration and Supervision from Grand Canyon University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in General Studies from The University of Kansas.
