Ian Powell

Ian Powell is an experienced professional currently serving as the Transportation Systems Manager at Arlington ISD since January 2022, overseeing the development and enforcement of transportation policies while assisting with the administration of relevant hardware and software for the department. Previously, Ian held roles such as Information System Analyst and Lead Special Ed. Router at Arlington ISD, along with positions at MileIQ, Chase, and American Airlines where skills in user experience insights, case resolution, staff supervision, and customer service were honed. Academic pursuits include a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems at The University of Texas at Arlington and two associate degrees in Business Administration and Information Technology from Tarrant County College.
