Jennifer Hughes

Jennifer Hughes is an experienced educator currently serving as an Elementary Educator at Arlington ISD since August 2022, focusing on early childhood education and 5th grade math. Prior to this role, Jennifer worked at a charter school from June 2019 to July 2022 as a Technology Education Teacher, instructing high school students in courses such as Principles of Information Technology, Computer Science, Web Design, and Web Game Development. Jennifer's background also includes a tenure at Dallas Independent School District from 2005 to June 2017, where responsibilities encompassed teaching math and science for grades 2nd and 4-8, facilitating learning experiences that promote overall student growth. Jennifer holds a Master of Education from East Texas A&M University, a Principalship certification from The University of Texas at Arlington, and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from East Texas A&M University.
