Shelly Osten

Shelly Osten, Ed.D., currently serves as the Executive Director of School Leadership at Arlington ISD since July 2017, previously holding the positions of Director of Leadership Development and Principal. Prior experience includes roles as Assistant Principal and Instructional Coach at Grand Prairie ISD from July 2013 to June 2017, as well as serving as a Teacher at Arlington ISD from August 2006 to June 2013, where Shelly was recognized as the 2013 Arlington Masonic Lodge Teacher of Merit and actively participated as a campus sponsor for Destination Imagination and coordinator of the General English Mastery Skills program. Shelly is pursuing a Doctor of Education degree in Cooperative Superintendency at The University of Texas at Austin, with prior degrees including a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from the same institution.
