Thomas Flagg is an experienced educational leader currently serving as an Assistant Principal at Arlington Independent School District since July 2020. Prior to this role, Thomas worked within the Dallas Independent School District from August 2015 to July 2020, where responsibilities included serving as an Assistant Principal Intern and Curriculum Instructional Coach, focusing on history and electives. Thomas has extensive experience in music education, having served as a Choir Director and Modern Band instructor, with notable achievements including leading a varsity girls choir to sweepstakes and directing a 40+ member traveling show choir in Fort Worth ISD, where Thomas worked from August 2006 to August 2015. Additionally, Thomas held the position of Assistant Director and Vocal Director at The Black Academy of Arts and Letters, managing a large summer arts program for young performers. Thomas holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Langston University, a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Concordia University Texas, and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration at Texas Christian University.
