David G. Ellis

Dave Ellis, Executive Vice President of development, oversees the sourcing and management of new development opportunities for Arlington Properties. In addition to identifying and analyzing new development and investment opportunities, Dave is responsible for all aspects of real estate development and management for newly developed properties, including entitlements, design, finance, construction, sales, investor relations, marketing, and asset management.

Dave began his career as a management associate at AmSouth Bank, where he progressed to the role of credit analyst for the bank’s commercial real estate department, and then proceeded to become relationship manager and assistant vice president of AmSouth Bank’s commercial real estate department. After his time at AmSouth, Dave served as the development manager for the Pivotal Group where he completed more than $45 million in new real estate projects over an 18 month period. He has served as vice president of Arlington Properties’ development division since 2007.

Dave received his Master of Business Administration with a concentration in finance from the University of Alabama and his Bachelor of Science in business administration from Birmingham-Southern College.
