Paxton Helms is a seasoned educator with extensive experience in social studies, teaching United States History and Economics to high school sophomores and juniors at Arlington Public Schools, as well as World Geography in a Spanish immersion program. In addition to teaching, Paxton is the owner and chief resource creator of Teach-and-Learn Social Studies, providing diverse educational materials for social studies in both English and Spanish. Prior to this, Paxton held various research, writing, and consulting roles, including a senior technical advisor position at Tetra Tech ARD, supporting USAID projects across Africa, and consulting for the Corporate Executive Board on strategy best practices. Paxton's academic background includes an MBA in International Marketing and Strategy from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a BA in History from Wake Forest University.
