Wim Waelkens

Wim Waelkens is an experienced professional in the building materials and door hardware industries. Currently serving as General Manager at ARLU nv since December 2017, a company formed from the merger of Argent Alu and ROB, Wim also holds the title of BU Manager at Argent Alu since March 2015. Previously, Wim was CEO of YouBuild from May 2013 to February 2015 and General Manager of BMC Groep during the same period. Additional experience includes serving as BU Manager at CRAS NV from October 2004 to August 2012 and Commercial Director at Deknudt Frames from 1997 to October 2004. Wim Waelkens holds a Master's degree in Applied Economics from KU Leuven, obtained between 1985 and 1990.
