Matthew Dorn

Matthew Dorn has a range of work experience in the engineering field. Matthew'smost recent position is as a Mechanical Engineer at ARM Automation, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they held various roles at the Texas A&M Society of Automotive Engineers, including SAE Development Leader, Formula SAE Suspension Engineer, Baja SAE Rear Suspension Engineer, and Baja SAE Chassis Team Lead, from 2019 to 2023. Matthew also worked as an Engineering Design Center Machinist at Texas A&M University from 2019 to 2023. Matthew gained internship experience at Rivian as an Engineering Intern in Vehicle Dynamics and Development in 2022, and as a Body Engineering - Closures Intern in 2021. In 2020, Matthew was an Equipment Engineering Intern at Tesla and a Mechanical Engineering Intern at REV Robotics.

From 2018 to 2022, Matthew attended Texas A&M University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics.

In November 2019, Matthew obtained a certification as a Certified SolidWorks Associate from Dassault Systèmes.

In April 2016, Matthew achieved the rank of Eagle Scout through the Boy Scouts of America.

Continuing their education, Matthew attended Texas A&M University from 2022 to 2023, where they pursued a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
