Wijnand Rutgers has a extensive background in royalty & copyright management in the music industry. Wijnand has held roles such as Royalty & Copyright Manager at Roadrunner Records, CNR Entertainment BV, and Warner Music Benelux. Wijnand also served as Head of Royalty & Copyright at Artist & Company and Cloud 9 Music BV. Additionally, they have experience as Member of Copyright Commission at NVPI and Member of record company workgroup at SENA. Currently, they are the Chief Data Officer at Armada Music, where they oversee data governance and connections.

Wijnand Rutgers completed their elementary education at Grote Beer from 1978 to 1984. Wijnand then pursued Atheneum B at Amstellyceum from 1984 to 1991. Finally, they earned their Drs. degree in Structural Geology & Tectonics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam from 1991 to 1996.
