Jason Oates

Jason Oates has extensive work experience in various roles, spanning across different companies and industries. Jason is currently serving as the CTO & Co-Founder at Armalytix since May 2019. Prior to this, they held the position of Managing Director at Electronic Markets Limited from January 2019 to July 2021.

Before joining Electronic Markets Limited, Jason worked at HSBC Global Banking and Markets as the Global Head of Cash Equities and Electronic Trading IT from September 2016 to July 2018. Jason also served as the Managing Director - Global Head of Execution Services and Co-Head of EMEA Global Markets IT at Nomura from November 2008 to May 2016.

Jason's earlier career includes working at Lehman Brothers as an SVP from 1999 to October 2008. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Developer at TCAM Systems UK Ltd from 1996 to 1999. Jason began their career in the NHS, specifically in Radiation Physics, from 1993 to 1996.

Jason Oates attended Whitefield Fishponds School from 1983 to 1990. Jason then pursued higher education at the University of Cambridge from 1990 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Natural Sciences. Following that, they enrolled in Brunel University London from 1993 to 1995 and completed a Master of Science degree in Medical Radiation Physics.
