Mahbub Morshed

Mahbub (Jay) Morshed has a diverse work experience in the field of quality assurance and validation. Mahbub (Jay) is currently working as a Quality Assurance Manager at Armata Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where they support process development, manufacturing, and clinical operations by implementing and maintaining quality systems. Mahbub (Jay) also trains and oversees junior quality assurance staff.

Prior to this, Jay worked at Amcor Flexibles Americas as a Senior Process Engineer/Quality, where they provided engineering and technical solutions related to process deviations in a healthcare packaging environment. Mahbub (Jay) was responsible for writing and executing validation protocols and preparing reports for various product codes and equipment.

Before that, Jay worked as a Validation Engineer (Contract) at Beckman Coulter/Micro Quality Lab, a Validation Scientist III (Contract) at Johnson & Johnson, and a Senior Quality Assurance (Contract) at Amgen. Mahbub (Jay) also worked as a Validation Consultant (Contract) at Johnson & Johnson and as a Quality Inspector at Baxter International Inc.

Throughout their career, Jay has gained experience in maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations, training and supervising staff, and implementing Lean Manufacturing Principles.

Mahbub (Jay) Morshed completed their Associate's Degree in Biotechnology at Moorpark College from 2009 to 2011. During this time, they took courses such as Introduction to Biotechnology/Molecular Biology and Cell Culture/Microbiology. Prior to that, from 2001 to 2003, they pursued their M.Sc. in Botany/Microbiology at National University in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Before that, from 1999 to 2001, they obtained their B.Sc. in Biology, majoring in Microbiology and Chemistry, also from National University in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
