Peter Hubbard

Peter Hubbard has a diverse work experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Peter is currently serving as the Director of Manufacturing at Armata Pharmaceuticals, Inc. starting from May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Kite Pharma as a Manufacturing Supervisor from March 2018 to May 2022.

Before joining Kite Pharma, Peter held the position of a Cell Therapy Manufacturing Supervisor at NantKwest from May 2017 to March 2018. In this role, they supervised and developed a team of Operators, scheduled and performed manufacturing operations for multiple drug products, and maintained an ISO 8/7/5 production environment.

From November 2013 to May 2017, Peter worked as a Manufacturing Supervisor at Pacira Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Here, they supervised and led a team of operators, and was responsible for production and aseptic filling of bulk drug products in a Grade C and Grade A production environment.

Prior to Pacira Pharmaceuticals, Peter worked at GlaxoSmithKline as a Lead Biopharm Manufacturing Associate from February 2011 to November 2013. In this role, they were involved in the manufacture of bulk drug products, working on various projects involving chromatography skids and columns.

Peter's earlier experience includes working as a Manufacturing Associate at Baxter BioScience from September 2006 to February 2011, where they played a crucial role in getting a new biological production area qualified for FDA licensure. Peter also served as a Laboratory Technician at Esoterix, Inc from August 2004 to September 2006, performing testing with HPLC and Mass Spectrometers, DNA extraction, and genetic typing of HPV samples.

Peter's professional journey began as a Research Assistant at the University of Redlands, where they designed testing schedules and dosages for experimental drugs and conducted research on the expression of the Wnt 3A gene as part of inner ear development.

Overall, Peter Hubbard has significant expertise and experience in manufacturing, supervision, and leading teams in the pharmaceutical industry, along with strong knowledge of production environments and adherence to regulatory guidelines.

Peter Hubbard completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Redlands, where they studied from 2000 to 2004. Later, they pursued an MBA in Leadership and Organizational Change from the Pepperdine Graziadio Business School from 2008 to 2009.
