Suparna Mishra Sarkar has extensive work experience in quality assurance and regulatory affairs. Suparna currently serves as the Director of Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs at Armata Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this, they were the Associate Director of Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs at the same company from July 2020 to December 2022.

Suparna Mishra Sarkar completed their Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Dubuque between 1991 and 1995. Suparna went on to pursue a Master's degree in Biology at Texas Woman's University from 1996 to 1999. Subsequently, they obtained a PhD in Pathobiology (Cancer Research) from the University of Southern California, spanning from 2000 to 2004.
