Ciro Murillo

Ciro Murillo-Lenis is an experienced professional in data analysis and research, currently serving as Associate Analysis Coordinator at ACLED since April 2022, previously holding roles such as Senior Research Analyst and Data Literacy Officer. Prior to ACLED, Ciro worked at iMMAP as a Data Analysis Expert, contributing to the 2022 Humanitarian Needs Overview and enhancing humanitarian data availability through database uploads and methodological documentation. Additionally, Ciro's background includes positions at Universidad del Norte, including Academical Processes Assistant in the Quality and Academical Projects Office, and Research Assistant at the UNCaribe think tank, where in-depth analyses of armed group confrontations and other metrics were conducted. Ciro holds a B.A. in Political Science and Government from Universidad del Norte, complemented by an Introduction to Research program.
