Kari Martinez

Kari Martinez, MSOL, currently serves as the Director of Human Resources for Armstrong Garden Centers, Inc., where responsibilities include overseeing HR functions for Armstrong Garden Center & Pike Nurseries since September 2025. Prior to this, Kari held multiple senior leadership roles at Bloomingdale's from 2018 to September 2025, including Sr. Director, HR Business Partner, Sr. Director, General Manager, and Director, Human Resources Business Partner. Experience also includes a notable tenure at Apple from 2011 to 2018 as a Senior Manager, People, where Kari directed recruitment strategies and enhanced learning and development programs. Additional roles were held at Paul Frank Industries as Retail Operations Manager and at Urban Outfitters as Department Manager. Kari holds a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from Colorado State University Global, a Human Resources Management Certificate from UCLA Extension, and a Bachelor of Science in Management from Georgia Institute of Technology.
