Iain Cattanach

Iain Cattanach has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Iain started their career as a Web/Database Developer at Ayrshire & Arran Primary Care NHS Trust in 2002. Iain then joined Precise Media in 2004 as a Web Developer, where they played a significant role in delivering large-scale software projects and developing a bespoke QlikView solution for the company's Media Platform portal. In 2012, they worked as a Software Engineer (contract) at Qualitrol before starting their own contracting services company, Rianas, in the same year. At Rianas, Iain focused on software and web development projects, specializing in .Net, JavaScript, and QlikView. In 2014, they joined Arnold Clark as a Systems Developer and later took on roles such as Development Team Lead, Principal Software Engineer, and currently holds the position of Head of Product Engineering.

Iain Cattanach holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Information Technology from Glasgow University, which they obtained from 2000 to 2001. Prior to this, they completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Molecular Biology at Glasgow University from 1995 to 1999.
