Sandy Edward has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. They began their career as a Trainee Chartered Accountant at PwC in 1999 and later worked as an Audit Senior at the same company. In 2002, they served as a Project Accountant at Lion before joining PwC again in 2003. In 2004, they joined Pendragon PLC as a Financial Controller for Mercedes Benz of Glasgow, where they managed finance operations and led a team of staff. In 2007, they moved to Arnold Clark as a Divisional Franchise Accountant, responsible for managing the accounting function for BMW, Fiat, and Kia franchises. They later became the Franchise Operations Manager for BMW & Mini, leading a team and driving sales growth. From 2016 to 2021, they held the position of Senior Group Project Accountant at Arnold Clark, where they led the internal transaction management team and handled aftercare products. Currently, they serve as the Central Car Auctions - Finance Director at Arnold Clark.
Sandy Edward attended the University of Strathclyde from 1996 to 1999, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Finance. From 1999 to 2002, they attended the Institute of Chartered Accountants Scotland, completing a CA certification.
