Sarina Deb is an experienced advocate and researcher specializing in racial justice, constitutional law, and mental health awareness. Currently interning at the Stanford Center for Racial Justice and the ACLU SoCal, Sarina conducts research, writes policy memos, and contributes to legal discussions. As a Vice Chair of Communications and former Director of Special Events for Stanford in Government, Sarina has organized significant events and panels, while also serving on the Student Advisory Committee on Sexual Assault. As President of Students Against Eating Disorders, Sarina leads advocacy efforts and hosts workshops on body image issues. Sarina co-founded Jailed for Melanin, an organization focused on mass incarceration's impact on marginalized communities, and has held roles at the California Appellate Project and The Stanford Daily, where notable contributions include managing a team dedicated to equity in journalism. Sarina holds a Master of Arts in Journalism and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Stanford University.
