Golnar Teimouri serves as the Manager of Criminal Justice Research at Arnold Ventures since January 2023. Previously, Golnar held several roles at the City of Chicago from May 2019 to January 2023, including Policy Advisor for Research and Data-Public Safety and Senior Risk Analyst within the Office of the Mayor. Prior to this, Golnar was the Intergovernmental Affairs Liaison for the Transition Team of Mayor-Elect Lori Lightfoot and served as Director of Operations for the Lori Lightfoot campaign. Educational background includes a Master of Arts in Political Science with a focus on Data Science from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology, magna cum laude, with a minor in Human Rights from the University of California, Berkeley. Additional experience encompasses roles at Mayo Clinic and as a youth counselor and research assistant in various capacities.
