Kathryn Harnish

Kathryn Harnish, MSW, MBA, MLS, is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategic initiatives, communications, and product management within the aging and library sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Strategic Initiatives & Communications and Manager of Special Projects at Aroostook Agency On Aging, Inc., Kathryn also coordinates Age-Friendly Houlton and previously worked as a Data & Communications Specialist at the Elder Abuse Institute of Maine. Kathryn has held significant leadership roles at organizations such as Innovative Interfaces, OCLC, Ex Libris, and Endeavor Information Systems, where contributions included developing innovative library solutions and enhancing participation in cooperative programs. Kathryn's academic credentials include a Master of Social Work from the University of New England, an MBA from Columbia Southern University, a Gerontology Certificate from the University of Maine, and a Master of Library Science from the University of Pittsburgh.
