Raed Marji

Raed Marji has worked in a variety of roles since 2011. Raed began their career as Technical Manager at MENA Friends of the Global Fund, where they built a full featured website and handled technical issues. In 2014, they worked as Communications at Arab Startup Consultants and as Product Manager at PricePanda Group - Rocket Internet AG. In 2015, they became Product Manager at Project A Ventures, where they managed rebuilding and launching of 3 of the PAV ventures with a team of 10+ devs and designers. In 2017, they worked as Data Analyst & Engineer at Upwork, where they built a python-based ETL pipeline and conducted an exploratory data analysis. Raed also worked as Project Manager + Data Consultant at Jordan Open Source Association, where they developed policy guidelines as part of the open government initiative. In 2018, they worked as Data Engineer at Loom Labs. In 2019, they worked as Teaching Assistant at Columbia Engineering, where they taught Advanced Excel, Fundamental Statistics, Python Programming, Front End Web Visualization, Business Intelligence Software, and Big Data Analytics with Hadoop. Raed also worked as Director of Product Engineering and Director of Technology at Arootah.

Raed Marji obtained a Certificate in Data Analytics from Columbia University in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Jordan University of Science and Technology, graduating in 2013. Additionally, they obtained a Coursera Verified Certificate in Exploratory Data Analysis in June 2015.
