Matthew Baker

Matthew Baker, GISP, is an experienced Geographic Information System Specialist currently working at Arora Engineers since September 2022. Prior to this role, Matthew served as a GIS Specialist at LCEC from May 2021 to September 2022 and was the GIS/UAS Programs Manager for the South Carolina Aeronautics Commission from January 2011 to May 2021, where responsibilities included planning and implementing an enterprise GIS. Earlier in Matthew's career, roles included Aviation Designer/Engineering Designer at WK Dickson & Co., Inc. and CDM Smith, focusing on airfield project design and construction plans. Matthew holds an Associate's degree in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from American Sentinel College and has education in Wildlife and Forestry Conservation and Civil Engineering Technology.
