Markus Kreuter

Markus Kreuter is the current Director at Aroundtown. Markus has over 7 years of experience in finance and real estate. Markus started their career as a Team Leader in Debt Advisory at JLL. Markus then moved to Deutsche Bank AG where they worked in Commercial Real Estate Origination for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. In January 2020, they joined THE FLAG a different place to live as the Head of Finance and Head of Banking Relations and ESG. Markus was responsible for implementing a digital workflow for invoices, establishing a new reporting format and budget process, introducing liquidity and year-end forecast, and improving the delivery date of annual accounts from September to April. Markus also improved bank reporting and reflected the influence of the pandemic in monthly reporting and forecasting. In September 2021, they launched THE FLAG's first ESG report.

Markus Kreuter has a degree in Real Estate Economies from ebs Immobilienakademie GmbH and a masters from IREBS. Markus also has a diploma from Max von Laue Gymnasium.
