Alfonso de Lucas David has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles as a Chief Information Officer (CIO). Alfonso has held positions at several companies, including Grupo Arpada, ARPADA S.A., Urtinsa SA, Valdeluz, ARPADA S.A. DE C.V., Construred, VISSUM CORPORACION OFTALMOLOGICA, BNY Mellon | Pershing, HSBC, and Barclays Corporate.

At HSBC, they served as a Senior Programme Manager, where they successfully delivered a digital Change program worth over £100 million to 235,000 employees in 65 countries. Alfonso was awarded "Best Global and Strategic Transformation Programme" by The Banker Technology Projects of the Year Awards in 2017. Additionally, they led a team of 30 consultants and employees located worldwide and managed shrinking annual budgets while improving operational efficiency and program engagement.

At Barclays Corporate, they worked as a Business Change & IT Delivery Manager, where they expanded the cash concentration platform into two new Western European countries and collaborated with IT and business experts to ensure delivered solutions brought business value. Alfonso also established and maintained close relationships with various stakeholders to tailor solutions according to individual country needs and implemented program standards, templates, and tools for successful governance.

Alfonso de Lucas David began their education by pursuing a Master of Engineering in Computer Science from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, which they completed between the years 2000 and 2005. Following this, they decided to further enhance their academic qualifications by enrolling at the IE Business School, where they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from 2008 until 2009. In 2011, Alfonso obtained certification in PRINCE2™ Foundation & Practitioner. Recently, in 2022, they obtained expertise in Digital Selling from the Digital Selling Institute, specializing in the field of Ventas Digitales.
