Ben Kelly

Ben Kelly has diverse work experience in engineering and technical roles. Ben began their career in 2002 with the Royal Air Force (RAF) as a Ground Radio Technician, performing maintenance, repair, and testing on deployable communications equipment. Ben then transitioned to Arqiva in 2008, where they progressively advanced to Principal Engineer. During their time at Arqiva, they held positions such as Power System Technician, Power Systems Engineer, M&E Project Engineer, and Senior M&E Project Engineer. Kelly's expertise encompasses power systems, engineering projects, and mechanical and electrical (M&E) engineering.

Ben Kelly has a BSc(Hons) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, which they obtained from 2011 to 2016. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2004, they attended the Royal Air Force Cosford Technical Training School and studied Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology. In addition to their educational background, Ben has obtained several certifications including Level 5 Leadership and Management from the Chartered Management Institute and Project Fundamentals from the Association for Project Management. Ben also holds certifications in electrical testing and inspection, authorized person electrical low voltage, and safety training.
