Borja López Carracedo

Borja López Carracedo is a Principal Civil Engineer at Black & Veatch since September 2025, and previously held the same position at CEMEX from May 2022 to September 2025. Prior experience includes a role as a Civil and Structural Engineer at Técnicas Reunidas from March 2013 to June 2022, where significant projects included the Marjan and Bu-hasa projects in Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi, respectively, as well as the 5th Gas Train (GT5) project at the Mina al-Ahmadi Refinery for Kuwait National Petroleum Company. Early career experience includes a position as a Junior Civil Engineer on the Toutgaz project in Algeria and work as a Project Expeditor for the Horizon Oil Sands Project in Canada. Borja López Carracedo earned a Master of Engineering in Foundation and Retaining Structures from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in 2014 and a Civil Engineering degree from the same institution in 2013.
