Daniel Gaviria Tobón

Daniel Gaviria Tobón has a diverse range of work experience in the field of civil and environmental engineering. Daniel started their career at the Universidad de los Andes - Colombia, where they were a member of the Civil and Environmental Engineering Student Chapter from March 2015 to September 2017.

In 2017, Daniel worked as a collaborator for Critical Edges Magazine from June to October.

Daniel then joined ELLISDON / ARPRO JV in 2018 as an intern from January to July, gaining valuable industry experience.

During the same year, Daniel also worked at ARPRO S.A. as a BIM Professional from July 2018 to October 2020.

Daniel has also been actively involved with Uniandinos - Oficial, a professional organization, where they held various roles within the Civil and Environmental Engineers Chapter. Daniel served as the Vicepresident from August 2018 to August 2019, then became the President from August 2019 to October 2020. Throughout these years, they contributed to the growth and development of the chapter.

Currently, Daniel is working at Arquitectura & Concreto as a Project Coordinator since October 2020 and has been recently promoted to the position of Project Director starting in February 2023.

Daniel Gaviria Tobón completed their education in a chronological order. Daniel started their education journey in 2014 by enrolling in Universidad de Los Andes, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Civil Engineering. Daniel completed this program in 2018.

After completing their bachelor's degree, they continued their studies at the same university and obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Engineering and Construction Management. Daniel attended Universidad de Los Andes from 2018 to 2020.

In addition to their formal education, Daniel Gaviria Tobón has also obtained additional certifications. In April 2020, they received the certification "Experto en modelado arquitectónico BIM" from Autodesk. Daniel also obtained another certification, "Experto modelado estructuras Revit/BIM," from Autodesk in the same month and year.
