M.eng Zahra Alaswad

Zahra Alaswad, M.Eng, PMP has a diverse work experience with various companies and roles. Zahra is currently employed at Array Marketing as a Project Manager since August 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Nestlé as an Operations Performance Specialist from November 2021 to July 2022. In this role, they focused on driving operational improvement projects and worked on cross-functional teams to commercialize innovative products. Zahra also led productivity improvements and applied Nestle Continuous Excellence (NCE) and Lean methods.

Before joining Nestlé, Zahra worked at Cosmetica Laboratories Inc as a Process Engineer from April 2018 to November 2021. In this role, they led multiple hot pour compounding and filling projects, diagnosed and troubleshooted errors efficiently, and monitored equipment performances for process optimization.

Zahra started their career as a Technical Chemical Engineer at AlManzel AlMohtarif in May 2016, and later served as a Research and Development Intern at Bosch from August 2014 to January 2015. Zahra also gained experience as a Quality Control Intern at the Royal Scientific Society from September 2012 to November 2012.

Throughout their career, Zahra has demonstrated strong problem-solving skills, root cause analysis, and the ability to work under pressure. Zahra is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Zahra Alaswad, M.Eng, PMP has a strong educational background in engineering. Zahra obtained their Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mechanical and Materials Engineering from Queen's University in 2018. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Chemical-Pharmaceutical Engineering from German Jordanian University between 2011 and 2016. During their undergraduate studies, they also pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Pharmatechnik from Hochschule Anhalt from 2014 to 2015.

In addition to their academic achievements, Zahra Alaswad has also obtained professional certifications. Zahra is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, which they acquired in December 2022. Zahra also holds a Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification from the Six Sigma Global Institute, which they earned in November 2021. These certifications further enhance their skills and expertise in project management and process improvement.
