Alberto Hernandez

Alberto Hernandez has been working in the scientific field since 2001. From 2001 to 2010, they worked as a Researcher PhD Student and PhD Student at Universidad de Alcalá, where they studied the role of vitamins A and E in the modulation of the somatostatinergic system in the rat hippocampus, and the correlation between the Postmortem Interval and the patterns of arthropod colonisation in rural areas near the University. From 2010 to 2018, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at CIB-CSIC, where they worked on the "Brainage" project, the PEDF project, and the description of the rhodopsin-arrestin system on the onset and progression of the retinitis pigmentosa. Since 2018, they have been working as the Chief Scientific Officer and Chief Technology Officer (Responsable de I+D) at ARRAYS FOR CELL NANODEVICES, SL - A4CELL.

Alberto Hernandez attended Universidad de Alcalá from 1997 to 2001, where they earned a Licenciado en Biologia in Biologia animal.
