Ephraim Tsalik currently serves as the Vice President and Chief Scientific Officer for Infectious Disease at Danaher Corporation, a position held since April 2022. Tsalik has been affiliated with Duke University School of Medicine since July 2011, where roles include Associate Professor with Tenure and Adjunct Faculty in the Center for Applied Genomics & Precision Medicine and Division of Infectious Diseases, as well as Co-Director of Duke Scholars in Infectious Diseases. Tsalik also practices as a Staff Physician at Durham VA Health Care System. Previous leadership experience includes Chief Medical Officer at Biomeme, Inc. and Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer at Predigen, Inc., a Duke University spin-out focused on health diagnostics. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Medicine and a PhD from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, an MHSc in Clinical Research from Duke University, and a BA in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from Rutgers University–New Brunswick.
