Harald Brendel

Harald Brendel is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in image science and digital camera systems. Currently serving as Director of Image Science R&D Camera Systems and Head of the Center of Competence Image Science at ARRI since January 2004, Harald has a strong background in color engineering and application support for digital imaging products. Prior roles at ARRI include Principal Engineer and Head of Application Engineering, contributing to software development and client support. Prior to ARRI, Harald worked at Warner Bros. Entertainment Group, where a shot database for digital intermediate productions was developed, and at The Posthouse, overseeing digital color correction for "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy. Earlier experience includes serving as Chief Engineer for post-production technologies at ARRI Film & TV. Harald Brendel holds a degree from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
