Catie Cronister

Catie Cronister has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and research. Catie started their career as a Data Science Fellow at MedStar Health, where they led a project on protocol prediction and created a deep learning model to improve radiologist workflow. This work was recognized at the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence for Healthcare (ICAIH 2022). Catie then joined Oncocyte Corporation as a Data Scientist and later moved to Arria NLG as a Data Science Consultant. Prior to their industry experience, Catie conducted research at Wofford College, where they worked on an honors thesis in Mathematics and explored mathematical models of gait. Catie also served as a Lead Research Assistant on a combined heart and brain study, where they cleaned and analyzed data using Matlab and conducted a sub-study on the connection between mathematical constants and biological conclusions.

Catie Cronister completed their education in a chronological manner. Catie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Biology from Wofford College, studying there from 2016 to 2020. In 2020, they furthered their education by pursuing a Master's degree in Data Science at the University of San Francisco, which was completed in 2021.

Furthermore, Catie Cronister obtained additional certifications in the field of cross-cultural intelligence and communication. In March 2022, they acquired the certification for "Developing Cross-Cultural Intelligence" from LinkedIn, and in February 2022, they earned the certification for "Communicating Across Cultures," also from LinkedIn.
