Scott Perkins has a diverse work experience in engineering and project management. Scott started their career at Bucknell University as a Project Management Internship for Wind Turbine Install from August 2012 to May 2014. In 2014, they worked as an Engineering Consultant for Gilson Snowboard & Ski Co., providing fluid dynamics analysis for patented snowboard geometries. From 2014 to 2017, they joined Avery Dennison as a Process Engineer and later became a Project Engineer. In 2018, they joined ARRIS as a Process Engineer and then transitioned to the role of Process R&D Lead from 2019 to 2021. Currently, they are serving as the Director of Process R&D and IP at ARRIS, where they manage engineers, develops the IP portfolio, and aligns R&D with commercialization.

Scott Perkins earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bucknell University from 2010 to 2014. Scott then pursued a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from UC Berkeley College of Engineering from 2017 to 2018. Scott also holds a certification as an Engineering-in-Training (EIT) which is a professional engineer prerequisite.
