Debbie Govier

Debbie Govier is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community engagement, social performance, and land management across various organizations. Currently serving as Senior Manager - Global Land at Fortescue Future Industries since May 2022, Debbie previously held roles at Shell as Senior Social Performance Advisor and Senior External Relations Advisor. Prior to Shell, Debbie worked with QGC - A BG Group Business in multiple capacities including Groundwater Program Manager and Manager Land Performance Improvement. Additional experience includes positions at Queensland Water Infrastructure, Australian Stainless Steel Development Association, LAWASIA, and Australian Industry Group. Debbie holds a degree in Journalism from Queensland University of Technology.
