Shane Simmons

Shane Simmons is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in tax and treasury management. Currently serving as the State Chair of the Queensland Regional Council and as a Queensland Regional Councillor for Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand since September 2015, Shane also holds the position of Chair for the Corporate Advisory Panel. Shane has been with Arrow Energy as Group Manager of Tax & Treasury since June 2012, previously serving in a similar capacity at FKP from August 2006 to June 2012. Earlier career roles include Principal at Deloitte Australia from September 2004 to August 2006 and Director at Ernst & Young from January 1994 to June 2004. Shane's educational background includes a Fellowship from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law NSW, a Bachelor of Business / LLB from QUT, and a Chartered Tax Adviser designation from the Tax Institute of Australia.
