Dan Oswald

Dan Oswald is a seasoned leader with 35 years of experience driving growth and operational excellence. For more than three decades, Oswald has navigated the ever-changing financial services, fintech, and payments industries—helping teams to implement and successfully execute strategic product, operational and business development plans.

Prior to joining Arroweye, Dan was the Vice President of Business Development for Deluxe Corporations Payment Processing Outsourcing Division where he and his team transformed and built the company’s payment outsourcing division into the most respected payment processing service bureau in North America.

Prior to his role at Deluxe, Dan spent 29 years with First Data Corporation where he held many significant senior-leadership positions during his tenure including the responsibility for the REMITCO payments division as senior vice president, senior vice president in the company’s output services division responsible for operating strategy, and vice president & general manager overseeing one of first data’s largest client relationships.

Among his many accomplishments over his tenure, Dan significantly expanded each of the company’s strategic operating capabilities, market share and overall market position while deploying a team-based inclusive leadership operating philosophy.

Mr. Oswald comes to Arroweye with a highly successful background in product innovation with three United States patents to his credit. He led the redesign and rollout of one of the industry’s first common payment processing platforms while at First Data (Fiserv) which has become the industry standard in treasury payment processing.

Additionally, Dan and his teams designed and led the strategic redesign for First Data’s (Fiserv) full-color statement printing operations and was instrumental in the credit card industry’s first RFID and chip-based smart card rollouts in North America.

A native of Nebraska, Mr. Oswald attended Bellevue University and pursued an MBA from Colorado State University. Dan and his wife Beverly have been married for 33 years and they have three children all of which reside in Omaha, Nebraska.
