Rob Anderson

Rob Anderson is the founder and CEO of Advantage Medical Consulting Group, an international distribution company with focus on unique products and services for the orthopaedic, spinal, podiatric, and neurosurgical sectors. In addition to his executive role at AMCG, Mr. Anderson is also the president of Fortitude Equity Partners, LLC, in which he pulls from his experience to help refine marketing strategies and operations, develop partnerships in the surgical community, and secure key customers.

Mr. Anderson began his career in the medical device space with Cytyc Surgical, where he was responsible for developing the sales channel for new therapies in the radiation oncology space. Following Cytyc, Mr. Anderson moved into roles of increasing responsibility with Synthes Spine and then Covidien, where he was brought in as an Area Manager, responsible for the strategic planning, business development, and sales of a $25 million product portfolio in the neuro-biologics space. Following Integra’s acquisition of Covidien’s Neuro portfolio, Rob spun out his biologics business to Vivex Biomedical, where he serves as Vice President, managing and directing the sales and marketing of a $50 million regenerative medicine business with key solutions for the orthopedic and spinal surgery sectors.

Rob Anderson attended Western Kentucky University on scholarship and graduated with high honors. Mr. Anderson earned an MBA from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business, where he completed an internship in Shanghai, China with United Health Partners and graduated with honors.

In addition to his duties at Arrowhead Medical Devices, Mr. Anderson serves on the board of various companies and foundations including the Terry College of Business Alumni Foundation and Allyne Health. Rob Anderson is a founding member of multiple start-up companies in the orthopaedic space and has played a key role in the development, commercialization, and divestment of products with revenues in excess of $45 million.
