Jennifer Keen has a diverse work experience in the field of clinical services and therapy. Starting in 2012, they worked as a Case Manager/Counselor at Discovery Institute for Addictive Disorders, where they provided individual and family sessions, facilitated small groups, and offered case management services for clients in drug court. In 2014, they became the Director at the same institute, overseeing clinical supervision, program development, and the implementation of various therapies. Jennifer also developed a program-specific EMR.

In 2017, Jennifer joined the Center for Emotional Wellness as a Psychotherapist in private practice, focusing on providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families using CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and EMDR. The same year, they also took on the role of Executive Director at ARS Treatment Centers until 2019. From 2018 to 2023, they served as the Director of Clinical Services at ARS Treatment Centers. Currently, Jennifer is the Chief Clinical Officer at ARS Treatment Centers.

In 2019, Jennifer started their own practice, Jennifer Keen Therapy Services LLC, where they serve as the owner.

Jennifer Keen has a Master's degree in Social Work with a specialization in Leading and Managing Human Service Organizations, which they obtained from Stockton University in 2014. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work from Stockton University in 2013. Jennifer also holds an Associate degree in Human Services from Ocean County College, which they received in 2008.

In terms of certifications, Jennifer is EMDR (Eye Movement and Desensitization Reprocessing) trained, with their training obtained from the EMDR Institute. Additionally, they have obtained several other certifications including a Clinical Supervision Certificate Course from the NASW (National Association of Social Workers) in October 2020, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license from the Commonwealth of Virginia Board of Health in May 2020, an International Certified Clinical Supervisor certification from IC&RC (International Certification and Reciprocity Consortium) in March 2020, a Certified Clinical Supervisor certification from The Certification Board, Inc in March 2018, and another LCSW license from the Board of Social Work Examiners in August 2017.
