Richard Eglen

Richard Eglen is a Senior Advisor at Arsenal Capital Partners. Richard has over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.

Richard began their career as a Research Scientist at Smith and Nephew. Richard then joined Syntex as Vice President of Neurosciences. In 1994, they became Vice President of the Institute of Pharmacology at Roche Bioscience.

In 2000, Richard joined DiscoverX as Chief Scientific Officer. Richard was with the company for six years before joining Arsenal Capital Partners.

Most recently, Richard was Vice President and General Manager at Corning Incorporated. Richard was with the company for eight years before returning to Arsenal Capital Partners in 2019.

Richard Eglen was educated at Nottingham Trent University, where they received their Ph.D. in Pharmacology. Richard also has a B.Sc. in Special Honours Physiology from The University of Sheffield.
