Joey Vaught

Joey Vaught has a diverse range of work experience in various roles related to acquisition and contracting. In 2007, they served as the Global Sourcing Process Leader at Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc., where they supervised a team and managed a substantial budget. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Contract Administrator at the Department of Defense Contract Management Agency, where they handled post-award administration and compliance. In 2012, they held multiple positions, including Logistics and Contracting Support Analyst at Northrop Grumman Corporation and Lead Acquisitions and Contracts Analyst at LINC Government Services. Joey was responsible for providing expert advice and resolving complex logistics and contracting issues. In 2013, they became the Team Lead Acquisition Support at JAB Solutions, leading a team of analysts and improving productivity. Joey also served as an Acquisition Analyst for GSA Policy, assisting in the development and maintenance of acquisition policy. Joey joined The Choice Inc in 2014 as a Contracting Specialist, providing cradle to grave contracting support to the Federal Bureau of Investigation. In 2015, they worked as a Senior Acquisition Analyst at Markon Solutions, delivering contracting policy support to the Department of Veterans Affairs and participating in the development of contract policies and procedures. Currently, they are employed at ARServices as an Acquisition Project Manager for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency. Joey Vaught obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Science from South Dakota Mines in the years 1992 to 1994. Later, from 2007 to 2010, Vaught pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations at Webster University. Furthermore, Vaught continued their education and completed a Doctor Business Administration degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Argosy University Washington, DC, from 2012 to 2015.
